Rem(a)inders: a combination of the word 'Reminders,' and, of course, 'Remainders'. What remains in a world where everyone has left? Just reminders of the past- remnants.

This film is just a portion of an overall larger story and universe. Rem(a)inders follows Jay, a young tween abandoned by their parents (and seemingly, their friends), right after an nuclear apocalypse is announced to be on the horizons. People fled their homes, abandoning big cities in hopes of leaving targeted areas, escaping underground, to the skies, and anywhere they think they may find some semblance of peace and safety. People looted, robbed, ransacked, and pilfered, taking everything with them they could find... but they just forgot Jay.

All that aside, I wanted this film to capture the feeling of a better time, living blissfully in memories, becoming stained by a sunken reality in the present through colors.
